About Me
Traveller, reader, chronic over-packer.
Hello, I'm Cameron.
I started this blog because I kept filling up notebooks on trains and planes and couldn't bear to leave the words behind. "Footnotes and Footsteps" began as a private journal. Somewhere between Montreal and Hanoi, it became something I wanted to share.
I travel quickly — often focusing on the beauty, history, AND food in any given place. I have a day job that keeps me busy so I can never stay in one place for too long.
My writing is about the texture and beauty that places emit. The history that lives in every place is something all people should embark to uncover. And along the way, find some unexpected meals. After all, the world is our oyster.
When I'm not on the road, I'm probably reading or eating. Check out my reading list and favorite meals.
